Born in Famagusta, Cyprus. She completed her primary and secondary education at the Near East College. During this period, she completed the piano exams of the Royal Academy of Music. In 2004, she started her university education at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at the Near East University.
In the 2007-2008 academic year, she was among the first recipients of a European Union scholarship in Northern Cyprus and studied for one year at the Aarhus University in Denmark, Department of Economics under the Erasmus Program. She then returned to her country and graduated from the Department of Business Administration in 2009. In the same year, she continued her Master's degree in Business Administration at Hasselt University in Belgium.
İpek Akol was chosen as the Style Icon of the Year in a competition organized by a local magazine in 2018 by coming first. She has starred in many music videos. She writes essays and poetry. Playing the piano, spending time in nature, taking care of her cats and doing sports are among her hobbies.
Since her childhood, she has continued her habit of traveling to different countries with her family, and with the friends she met abroad during her student years. Exploring new places, seeing the cultures of different countries closely and tasting their traditional foods are her greatest passions.
